Mains Answer Writing

NCSC IAS Institute recognizes the critical importance of effective answer writing in the UPSC Mains examination, which hinges on conceptual clarity, comprehensive syllabus coverage, and precise articulation within specified word limits. To address the challenges faced by aspirants in mastering this skill, we have instituted an inclusive “Open to All” Daily Mains Answer Writing initiative.
Through this initiative, we have identified two common issues:
- Lack of Answer Writing Skill: Many aspirants often write answers without the necessary skills, which hampers their overall improvement.
- Lack of Structured Answers: Mere writing is insufficient; structured and well-planned answers are crucial for scoring well in the exam.
In response to these challenges, we have introduced the following updates:
- Revised Open-to-All Daily Mains Answer Writing Timeline: Each participant can now engage in open-to-all answer writing for up to 15 days. For instance, registration on the 1st of a month allows participation until the 15th of that month.
- ‘Samarth’ – Answer Writing Skill Development Program: This program serves as a comprehensive solution to refine answer writing skills. Beyond the initial 15 days, aspirants can join ‘Samarth’ to receive specialized guidance and tools for continuous improvement.
